Miami Beach's Hidden Gems 1

People come to Miami Beach and end up eating in some tourist trap restaurant on Ocean Driive, paying a lot for touristy food. You know what they say: Go where the locals go eat. So here is a little secret that I hate to give it up, but it's too good to keep it to myself. It's a small restaurant called JIMMY'S located in a strip mall.

But don't get fooled by the humble setting, you are in for the best meal you will ever have in Miami Beach!
Chef Jimmy Carey garnered experience from Five-Star hotels to Brasserie le Coze (sister restaurant Le Bernardin N.Y.C.) to actor Michael Caine’s South Beach Brasserie. From famous steak houses like Ruth’s Chris and Morton’s to casual-themed dining.

Jimmy's creative menu has a variety of salads (Southwest Chicken Salad, my favorite), pannini sandwiches (Turkey panini, the best),and special culinary creations like Ahi Tuna with avocado salad and rice is something that you have to try to believe how amazing it is.

Jimmy's special desserts are a must as well. They are fresh made by his mother every week. The guava cheesecake is out of this world!

So, think outside the tourist box and try one of the best restaurants in Miami Beach. You will be glad you did!
